Let me get this straight, the same mayor that the FOP board, not the members endorsed Mayor Regalado has hacked our wages and benefits right???

So, in the middle of a financial crisis the FOP attacks the Chief publicly about spending overtime even though he stayed WITHIN his budget yet Ortiz has a child like tantrum over the overtime.
Now that Exposito has a gag order and cant respond to the Herald popaganda Ortiz is talking to the media helping the Miami Herald write a nail on the cofin piece on Exposito???? WTF???
WE ARE PAYING ORTIZ AND ARMANDO OUR DUES TO SCREW US AND ATTACK THE CHIEF PLAYING POLITICS

Wake up people!!!!!! The FOP backstabed us again!! A sweet deal was made for themselves again!! Armando Aguilar son will now get promoted to Senior ex assistant!!
They have never been against the Mayor!!!
Look at all the time, energy , and money wasted in getting rid of Expo.

Can you clowns please just put half that effort against the man that's taking all our money away!!!!! The MAYOR!!!!!!

Why hasn't the fop informed us on negotiations?

Why did I learn the commission meeting was canceled through cbs4?

Why is the city taking my pay AGAIN?

Contract Details

Since our FOP wants to keep us in the dark so they can keep kissing Regalados A$$, here are the contract details as provided by Chief Orosa:

The City will pay 2million dollars less into our insurance trust. They havent calculated yet exactly how much more we will have to pay, but do the math its alot!!

No new cars for 3 years

No new uniforms for 2 years

Pension contribution goes to 10%!! dont worry armando your in the drop so you dont have to pay!!

No more Overtime if you call in sick or use vacation in that week

We will now pay a shit load for our cars!!

We are giving up 3 holidays!!

Do not give away the only thing left that makes this job worth doing. You are being short sighted and remember u are not going to be 21 forever. Retirement will come faster than u think and this money will come in handy. You guys continue following Javi and criminals in the FOP who have destroyed this police department by setting it back 50 years. The working conditions , pay and benefits have gone down the tube. This is has been the worst FOP administration since it was established . Thank u Armando and Javi.

I strongly suggest that we get Armando out of the FOP! He is looking out for only himself and his family. Armando is max out in his salary steps and lives a mile away from the city. He gets a uniform pay allowance and has a new car. Not to mention the extra monthly stipend his get from the union.His son will get promoted making $55,000 more a year.Its a Win Win for him!

Haven't you noticed this contract agreement does not apply to him!

Whenever the Union cannot defend the undefendable, the union resorts to the only tactic it knows which is to attack Lt Kerr.

I heard a lot of discontent people bitching last night whose name wasn't Kerr.

From Aramando's inability to grasp that we don't want a 3yr contract, to Frank not allowing discussion about a bylaw change request, but then giving us his own opinions. They even tried to stack the meeting with non-FOP 20 lodge members.

I could only laugh whenever Armando said they met with Assistant City Manager Cabrera to discuss the contract. How can you negotiate a contract with somebody who is still a Deputy Chief of Police and who is returning back to the Department in a few weeks.

Did they ensure that we get screwed in exchange for promotions or great assignments? Only time will tell.


The Union is broken, maybe beyond repair.

not so much love coming from the mayor after javi embraced the city manager and its cronies to get a leg up. Where is the love now javi? Where is the mayor backing you up and saying thaks for your support? Where is the love after you sold us all out in order to look good at the mayor and cabrera? I dont think that either taking a 8 or 12 mil hit is alot of love rather a huge slap in the face. or is it that armando has another way of giving back to people while throwing the ret of the membership under the bus. thanks alot f.o.p.

National FOP you better wake up and do what needs to be done with Armando and Company. Alot of us are getting ready to cancel are membership and join the Miami Dade PBA with the agenda of making them our bargaining unit. Sole purpose is to destroy these backstabbing pricks.
