Deputies didn't embarrass themselves in subsequent interviews after MSD tragedy saying that they are amazing.
Deputies don't continually use ridiculous quotes about Lions and Sheep and candies and nuts and OJ.
Deputies didn't try to use the tragedy to further their own political aspirations.
Deputies didn't withhold information in an attempt to mitigate poor supervision.
Deputies didn't try to blame the tragedy on one person and give that person's boss (political crony) a free pass.
Deputies kids' don't get a free pass on sex assaults.
Regular deputies don't get raises while deputies with poor work performance issues as well as sub-par sergeants get huge raises via unearned promotions.

Bottom line is that employees under the command of people they don't respect tend to fall short of reaching their full potential, nor do they serve the community very well either.

Although some Deputies may have done some wrong, they were not the leader of the organization who lost 17 at MSD and then embarrassed all of Florida on CNN.

Deputies didn’t use a tragedy for self gain? Are you stupid? Bell mixes budget issues with the MSD. Bell stopped to exactly what you allege the Sheriff did. Why did everyone vote? For raises! We all know it and then watch Bell who REPRESENTS US, go on TV and state all this has absolutely nothing to do with raises.
