We all hope this is not the same motor supervisor who allegedly assisted the motor officer who caused the rickenbacker causeway death. The motor officer was never questioned and internal affairs detectives allotted time for him to quietly retire and separate from the department without any investigation of him or punishment. This motorcyclists death and internal cover up must be looked into again and those officials involved must be held accountable. The major was transferred and all swept under the carpet. Approximately 16 officers were questioned except the principal officer who allegedly was in pursuit of the motorcyclist who plunged to his death. We ask for Chief Acevedo and Mayor Suarez to act on behalf of our citizens and members of our department.

Let’s see the supervisors crash report!!!! Departmental orders state a supervisor will respond to the scene of a city vehicle crash where a crime scene specialist would be requested to respond as well. It’s embarrassing and unethical on the supervisors part to have attempted to cover up such event. This speaks in volume and shows the public how corrupt and inappropriate we the Miami Police department perform our required duties. These individuals need to pay the consequences. Dear Chief do not allow for this event to go unfounded.

It’s been determined this supervisor had premeditated knowledge and instructions of what he needed to do in order to quickly respond to the commanders calling and intended crash cover up. He was so distracted that he never accurately reviewed the initial report generated by such primary officer. Officer was allowed to go off duty 3 hours earlier in order to quietly exit the attention radar. Officer nor supervisor ever responded to the crash scene. There is no proof crash occurred at described location. Crash diagram is incorrect and shows to be a 2 roadway intersection when in fact there is a turn lane. Both the officer and supervisor shall be relieved of their duties for falsifying event. There is two hispanic supervisors relieved of duty in the south district and both black supervisor and officer at central involved in the commanders crash cover up are being protected and guided by the major involved who is also black. Total cover up and discrimination. Miami New Times definitely aware of such.

Department allowing for this supervisor to get away with his wrongdoing during this cover up. You and I would of been relieved of our police duties and then fired immediately. Why is the department allowing for this alleged cover up and supervisory misconduct. Who do these superiors know at city hall? We the majority of members are bothered by this discrimination and favoritism.
