What is going on with the Sgt list???

Is it true that they are trying to 07 the list after they promote 10 more? I just heard this from somebody in the chiefs office

Yes ,unfortunately is true , they want to make 10 to 15 max and the list will be 07

The number is 55 to 60. They are debating if they should extend the list or spend a bunch of money on another Sergeant’s exam.

They rather cancelled the list and start all over , is cheaper for them , they get a grant for the test and by the time they have to pay someone 15 % is been another year

Wrong again they have budgeted 15 slots if the city cancel the list .... they will have 15 potential law suits and still have to make the sgts...... 15 budgeted slots and per doj they have to fill em before the 07 the list ..... also theybhave til the end of this month to promote if not they have to pay retro after nov 1st

Wrong again. There are not 15 openings so the city doesn’t have to promote anyone.

Yes sorry there was 15 promoted 2 13 positions budgeted and yes they have to promote is contractual and civil service. if u have the openings with an active list they have to promote.

The City has until April to promote 13 people. Technically, they can just extend the list and promote after.
