FF is still living within the confines of Disney World!! He truly thinks everything is great. Half of his Majors are incompetent and we have no respect for them. You can give us all those stupid leadership classes you want but if your leaders aren't leadrers then you have problems Franky Baby. Officers will continue to leave because people can't work within the mess you have created. Worst police department in Broward County.

From a long term Hollywood resident: I hope that every single officer who has a problem with the Chief finds a new job in Albuquerque. I just spent about an hour reading through all of the blog comments against him, and every single one that isn't racist or homophobic really only complains about the fact that he puts the law and constitution first. Sad that so many find it hard to adjust to law abiding Chief. Shame on you all! I hope Chief Fernandez stays here until every last one of the good old boys either dies, retires, or finds a new job far away from us.

Lady, you have no idea what you're talking about. He has a poor attitude towards his officers and morale is back in the pooper. Officers that love the City are leaving because they just can't handle the egotistical behavior of the Chief and his minions.

I am another long time resident of the City of Hollywood.

I love the changes that the Chief has made.I feel like I am living in a real city in the United States of America in 2015, instead of in some time warp in the pre civil rights South.

When Chad was Chief, every house on my block was robbed. Now, since Chief Fernandez has taken over, there have not been any robberies. Our home values have gone up and all of those who do not like living in a diverse city can afford to move now.

Crime is down and property values are up. People are out in the evenings all over the city and that is also good for business.

There are many more tourists in the restaurants, stores and on the streets spending money which means more revenue for our city.

I hear that there are still places in the US where they have not heard of Civil Rights, like Hollywood was under the old chief and asst chief.

You must be a Hollywood Hills or the lakes resident, where extra patrols are being conducted. The rest of the city and specially the west is being neglected to keep you safe. So enjoy while the rest suffers
