    Come November 2020, Miami Dade will have a new strong mayor, a de facto sheriff if you will; we hope it will be Penelas. So our question is this: Is Miami-Dade PD ready for a police director coming from outside MDPD? Not a retired MDPD member; Not an out of County candidate and less an out of state aspirant, but one who has served in law enforcement in our community for decades? A person who will engender gravitas in the director's office from day one and confidence not seen since E. W. Purdy assumed command in 1967.

    Your thoughts?

    You’re in the right area, but obviously still clueless. Carlos’ 33 was definitely hooked up all over the place. But that happened LONG before anyone had ever heard of school details. I’m sure there were all kinds of other things though
