Wow! Someone has an attitude problem. Maybe you should check that before you put in for external training next time.

Try Again
This situation would be funny if it wasn't the reality of a racist police department. (My opinion) The first step to change is admitting your faults, not denial. How can you do right by the community you serve if you can't even get it right by your staff. Just face it, you have not 1 African American in a Supervisory Position nowhere within this department, PERIOD!
Don't hate the messenger, hate your numbers!
Attitude, ha! You would have an attitude if you knew how much money this department has to dull out for discrimination and EEO lawsuits. (SARASOTA TAXPAYER MONEY THAT IS)
Oh, and by the way I moved on to a better more respected department.

You must have failed at math because you can't count to 1. EB is still a Sgt.

Chief Hollaway, Captain Mcvay , Captain Bonner, Sergeants Bolden, Jackson, Stockton, Redden. Detective Harris, B. Sing, Acting Segeant DG, Detective Nixon, the list goes on but if people don't test, or apply or desire these positions, how can you complain about it? You should learn your history

So let me get this straight. You feel that the chief should promote someone based on race, sex or ethnicity and not on work history, attitude, seniority, quality of work or knowledge of the policy and law?
I'm pretty sure that's the definition of being a racist. Here's a helpful tip, Instead of being entitled to something by the way you look, maybe you should try being humble and work harder towards your goals.

You are a liberal...
Remember, "You are a liberal if racial profiling is wrong but affirmative action is right."

Don't hate the messenger
At the end of the day, if your department didn't have serious racial issues then it wouldn't have to pay out money for Racial and EEO complaints. So, sugar coat the truth any way you like, but you can't run from the money......follow the money!
It's your white police officer that said black people were monkeys, its your white police officer that put his knee on that black man's neck after he was handcuffed. It's your white sergeant that approved that use of force, (why he isn't under investigation?) it's your white Lieutenant that approved that use of force, (why he isn't under investigation?).
To think the public would have never known about those videos until it was leaked to the media, was that "FAKE NEWS" hahaha
