Nothing commendable in candidate Paul Fern's background. At his age, it's too late to recover from his underwhelming life choices.

Wow, someone on the 2nd floor is scared! This forum wasn't even moving - except stuff being posted by the KH people! I've been at this agency for 22+ years and i have seen PF come and go. This guy wasn't a slacker, like most of you upstairs that have been promoted to specialty LT and such. Even on a night when it was slow, he did more work than 99% of you! And as far as KH - to say you have taken calls for service in (3) different jurisdictions including the SSO - you're not fooling anyone! All of us know you have never taken and cleared a call in this jurisdiction! The most you have done is cover things up like pulling the 911 tape on Murray Cohen and hoping no one ever found out about it. Did you do that to save your boy JB that was dating the sg5 x17? Sarasota County has had enough of the BS from this agency. Most of you do not know whats going on in the PF camp because he has trusting people there working on his behalf that know how/when to keep things to themselves. So to those select few (MM, JJ, KM, JB, KH) that want to come on LEOAFFAIRS and blast his wife because you can't find anything else on him (other than petty $hit that doesn't matter to the public anyways), we will see you at the polls! Just continue not worrying about anything. You guys have this all wrapped up LOL

Its a HELL OF A LOT better to have a bankruptcy due to a family issue than (3) separate CRIMINAL charges that have been expunged by the court (that a lot of us have the paperwork on). KH has been charged (3) separate times by law enforcement. He holds the keys to the secrets at the SSO that need to stay secrets. That's why your criminals like (MM, KH, JW, DT) and some retirees want this criminal to be their next Sheriff, to make sure dirt disappears. PF will bring back the honesty and integrity to the SSO that disappeared long ago. So if you support a criminal running for office (KH), then you must be associated with the criminals upstairs.

In case you morons don't recall, 2008 was the year when the economy took a dump. Many people had to file for bankruptcy because their spouses lost their job and they could no longer pay their bills. There are a lot more than just PF who had to file bankruptcy but due to the personal nature of a bankruptcy. There may have been other issues like a divorce or other life changing action that may have put him in that predicament. The main thing to remember is that a bankruptcy is a civil matter whereas theft and lying in official proceedings is criminal. I agree with the prior poster that I'd rather have a civil litigate running the show than a criminal that should be in a cell, not the corner office. It's time to make the SSO great again!

Wow! Where were you after 9/11/01 when the Feds were begging for people to come join the fight on terror? Oh, that's right - you were Specialty Lieutenant waiting on Specialty Captain and scared $hitless to take a chance on sitting on an airplane with a couple thugs that you MAY have to take down. OR - maybe you ARE NOT that Specialty A$$Hole and you are one of the criminals working upstairs with KH with rank. You weren't one of MANY at the SSO that stood up, applied and said, YES I WILL HELP MY COUNTRY. PF did! He was accepted and went on to NOT only work on airplanes as a detective but to also work undercover operations for Homeland Security in several states, work undercover in other countries on assignments (a couple over a month at a time) AND he was in charge of several Operations overseas. Those of us who remember his tenure also remember he worked the Superbowl with many other Federal Agents in Homeland Security watching for bombers and others on the terror watch list. So you throw stones at someone who not only bettered himself but went to war for his country???

Unfortunately, someone at the SSO DIDN'T know this OR thinks that serving his country is meaningless. So, go serve your COUNTY and STFU!

Sheriff Bill Prummell has a bankruptcy and President Donald Trump has several. BFD there are a ton of people who do that everyday. However not everyone has stolen gas while on duty working as a deputy. I can't ever think of a time when I arrested anyone over my 25 years that stole porn. That is just some low ass creepy shit. My bad, the wording was so screwy, it made it seem like he was the one actually doing all of the secret squirrel stuff protecting GB.... I’m glad we straightened that out...

Wait, I have an idea.. KH, if you are looking to gain the support of the SSO employees, why dont you go to fleet, get a old beat up POS loaner car. One that the seat is broken and the AC doesn’t work. Drive that and work one month night shift zone 1. Make sure there is no evening shift because of budgetary reasons they only have 2 deputies working in sector 3. Make sure your zone partner, zone 2 is there only half of the month and make sure there are no floaters.

Do that and I am sure you can get atleast 4, maybe 5,,, no make that 4, you can probably gain 4 total employees of the SSO to respect you....
