Deputy involved Temple Terrace Shooting 08/01/19

Per the Sheriff, a subject inside a bedroom raised a knife and charged at a deputy. The deputy "used de-escalation" techniques and backed up through the bedroom, through the hallway, through the house, outside, through the yard, down the sidewalk, all while begging the subject to drop the knife, before using deadly force.

Is this what we've come to?!!! REALLY! Lets not offend the public. Are we required to beg and plead and back out of a room, a hallway, a house, a yard, and a sidewalk before we can defend ourselves?

SHOOT THAT MOTHERFUCCKKER the second he raises the knife and advances toward you !!

    HOLY MOTHER FUKKING APPEASEMENT !!!!!!!

    FFUUKK ME

Ladies and gentlemen this is what it has come down to. A deputy's word is not good enough.

No, a Deputies word is not good enough anymore. To many of our guys have been caught lying and collaborating to get stories straight. It’s a shame, but thats what it has come to with our low hiring standards.

Deputies are now required to send a notarized letter begging the suspect to drop the weapon, via certified return receipt USPS mail.

Great post. Good point. Needed to be brought up.

Exactly why the public wants body cameras and why the sheriff is trying to do the right thing and protect deputies by getting them body cameras. Deputies should praise and thank the sheriff.

This. Would have been a non-issue "SHOOTING THAT MOTHERFUKCER" if a body camera was rolling.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE REAL PROBLEM IN ITS PUREST FORM??????

That deputy feared the fallout from the agency and judgement from this disgusting moral decayed social media society that a dangerous suspect with a fukking KNIFE.

The problem is way deeper that anyone can know. This state is headed in the same direction of California.

Then quit and move to Montana or North Dakota where it’s all white people if it’s that bad here, racist.
