2 man unit is not the Solution
Manny do you think 2 man unit is the Solution to an Officer defusing an armed Subject? Think again, instead of having 1 unit rightfully so Discharging his/her Glock it will be 2 unit making the intended Target SWISs cheese.
Manny in 2023 there is no De escalation when it comes to an ARMED subject,it is Force with Force The Officer gets to go home to his/her lovely Family.
Manny at the end of the day it is what it is,learn from Miami-Dade and FHP both agencies do the right thing Battle Force with Force. Miami PD is going to eventually get an Officer seriously hurt or kill with all these crazy Mr. Nice Officer Approach.
Officers in Miami deal with lots of ghetto people, don’t try to cover the SUN with 1 Finger.

Whether one or two officers unit is irrelevant when your number is up.
On November 28, 1988, at around 2 a.m., Metro-Dade Police Officers Richard Boles and David Strzalkowski responded to a call of someone creating a disturbance near a trailer park, Charles Street; the cause of the disturbance killed them both with their firearms, so much for the defenseless "unarmed" man. Many of you were not born 35 years ago or were infants, but Charles Street must be a name never to be forgotten. The bottom line is clear when you confront a person that you reasonably believe poses an imminent danger to your life or that of your partner, the course of action is clear; use the force necessary to save your life and your partner's. Hesitation, dare I say fear, is a sure way to get killed. Granted, there are situations wherein the "Green Ripper" will win, but [not] without a fight, not if we can help it.
From their "ivory tower," police chiefs can pontificate all they want; their lives are not on the line. Political creatures, they become forgetting, if they ever were, on the streets dealing with the likes of Charles Street.
Charles Street met his demise at the hands of another death row inmate, a "Marielito," who cut his aorta with a paper-knife. Divine Justice?
