    Broward County

Broward County Courthouse Chief Judge Tutter just announced that the courthouse will remain closed until at least April of next year. There will be no in person court proceedings or jury trials. The courthouse will remain completely closed due to the rise in Coronavirus cases nationwide now and in Florida. Courthouse Closed until further notice.

    Turkey Detail

Turkey Detail is a good place for the bailiffs. Put them to do something, they need to work like the rest of us. Better yet lay them off for the whole damn time the courthouse is closed. How about that for saving money.

    Bailiffs are happy

Bailiffs need to go. Courthouse Closed, bailiffs not needed anymore. Let the detention deputies do the work. We don't need 85 year old bailiffs bumbling around getting in our way.

    What a joke

Bailiffs never were any good. Always sleeping in court or playing on there cellphones. Always complaining about having to work saying it's not there job to do this or that. 85 year old retired fool's looking to get hurt and get somebody else hurt. They need to stay home and nap all day instead of napping in the courthouse.

    No More Bailiff’s

The bailiffs have been receiving pay and not working since February 2020. The courthouse on a realistic note won’t be back in business full business until the summer of 2021. Their are command meetings taking place now concerning the bailiffs. They will all be laid off in December 2020 after the holidays. Some will be let go permanently. The remaining ones with have to use their vacation/sick time they have continued to gained. This will all come to an end soon. The courthouse will reopen gradually during the summer because people will still not trust the virus. No judges or jurors, no bailiffs needed. Detention and DLE will take full control. This unfortunate incident with the virus and a full year of pay without working will ease them out of BSO. Part time bailiffs will be hired on a need basis in the future. This sheriff, county manager and command staff said their duties are not essential. All of this will occur after New Year. Yea buddy their captain never supported them.
