Abundance of caution excuse will cause panic
Have we had a cluster of nursing home corona virus infections in Tampa? We will make it through this virus....making it through these political hacks and their decisions is more of a worry. Canceling conventions, concerts, parades, spring training, spring breaks, where thousands of people are assembled, probably is next. Learn from Austin Texas...Mayor canceled south/southwest weekend, out of abundance of caution. That caused the locals to stop going to eat, etc. Mayor is now begging people to go about their daily lives. These feel good decisions without medical expert recommendations will cause public panic. Now the Hills School Board......abundance of caution again....cancels trips to NYC and anywhere else out of town student events. Now parents are stuck and aren't getting refunds because domestic travel was not restricted by the CDC. The public is being urged to follow CDC guidance.......these frigging politicians should do the same!!!!!

Damn, within 24Hrs, the sheep are following each other as predicted once it started. Up to 37 deaths. These GD politicians are willing to destroy the economy over it. What pussies we have become. We are truly witnessing a overreaction, hyped by the media, and plain old fashion politics, and its going to effect us all.......not the virus.......the economy.

Think this post was wrong know? Whats happening, and who is making these decisions? This virus was hopefully going to be contained, it was painfully clear, that we were beyond that. During the interim, every Mayor, etc was doing their own thing and it was different from city to city. Local politicians can implement State and National policy, but they shouldn't be allowed to make up their own rules. That's why the response has been all over the board, and not uniform, thus the virus could not be contained now.
