Chitwood made this call for Turney for a simple reason. Turney has not used the Deputies Union as a voice against Chitwood. Chitwood realized this fact and gave Turney a sweetheart deal. All one has to do is look at the recent disciplinary history of Chitwood to see examples of the unprofessionalism and favoritism that Chitwood shows.

Campbell was supposed to be fired. When it become known to Chitwood how anti-Ben Johnson Campbell was then a sweetheart deal was provided to Campbell.

Omelia should have been fired. When Chitwood realized that Omelia was up in Pierson not doing anything proactive and turning the other cheek for crimes....then a sweetheart deal was offered to him.

And on the opposite side of the coin...Galarza gets a promotion that was based on issues other than job performance.

Szabo gets fired because he voiced opposition to Chitwood.

Creamer is allowed to resign while involved in a very inappropriate relationship with Janelle Homan (Williams).

File a PRR and ask your questions. Why ask questions on an anonymous forums page? Your questions actually incites and welcomes conjecture, you understand don't you? Something tells me if you had called Berniers award winning show you'd be critiqued for asking the Sheriff those questions. Or you'll get a big fat NO COMMENT! You certainly wont get answers though, just like you won't here on LA.

No one here can answer your questions factually either, and if they could they couldn't be verified. Grow a pair of what? The union represents their own shelf lives and to challenge the Sheriff would equal Russian roulette with an unlocked and fully loaded mag! As opposed to the possibility of walking another day with one round spun in the revolver. Turney is for Turney. If deputies haven't realized they're on their own as far as representation from IUPA, they'll learn one day

Campbell helped conviction rates until he got caught. He also proved it is US (citizens) vs. THEM (courts n cops) and WE have no expectations of or guarantees of fair and impartial trials here in Volusia County
