    Miami Dade Shooting Disaster

Miami Dade Police screwed you guys without lube. The city of Miramar will be vicariously liable in the coming law suits for not taking control of the situation within their jurisdiction and allowing these trigger happy clowns from Miami Dade Police PRT unit start this gunfight.

You need to STFU! You have NO idea what you are talking about and need to put the cap on your can of gas! If you are a LEO or former LEO, you are a traitor to the badge. Support the officers involved and the investigation!

Miramar PD supervisors & their whereabouts?

I cannot wait to see which supervisors are outed for being absent from the city. Whether it is visiting their girlfriends or showing houses. GPS tracking records should be requested for all on duty personnel prior to and during the incident. It is time for accountability folks!

This is the prime example of how toxic this department is and disregard for any sense of being a true COP. Look at this dumb moronic statement and put in applications to other real departments and leave while you can!

Taking cover behind moving civilian vehicles (de facto HUMAN SHIELDS), reckless cross fire in the middle of Miramar Parkway, should I go on? Terrific police work and a clear illustration of PUBLIC SAFETY said absolutely no one ever.

Another coward and traitor to the badge. Support those involved and shut your f*cking mouth until the investigation is complete.

Sounds like that's coming from a rookie. You are a moron. And tell that to the family of Frank Ordonez and the bystander. Ordonez, by the way, was **praying** with his hands together and still was turned into swiss cheese. Prison time is coming.

Not a rookie but sure wish I knew who you were so I could never get within a mile of you. Your gutless hand up smells like the yellow coward that you really are. Wait until the investigation is over- in the meantime go cower in the corner like you do on every call you get assigned.

Only a psychopath would defend what happened there...

Let's be honest, this was noting but self-preservation and "sticking it to the bad guy," at all costs. That's all fine. We're all selfish and stupid in the heat of the moment. But just tell the truth... law enforcement's well-being was placed higher than the well-being of everyone else. Typical young-buck-millennial-wanna-be-operator attitude.

Real people freaking died folks. What is needed now is an apology for one of the worst law enforcement involved shootings in the past decade. But that won't happen. Limiting liability and maintaining egos are more important than manning up and admitting that this was reckless. It's all over national television... how can you spin this and still smell like a rose?

But hey, look on the bright side. At least you got both bad guys... at the expense of a nobody hostage, a bystander with bad karma, all while putting dozens of other non-sworn minions in danger. How brave! I hope you can find a way to sleep at night with that "it happens" attitude. Good luck with that "support."

    - Thankfully Retired LE
