    The Florida Channel

If you're interested in seeing Grady Judd, Gualtieri and a few others put Runcie in his place, have a look at today's meeting on the Florida Channel.org Video Library

You'll see why the schools had been unsafe and where most of the blame lies. It's time for LE to push back against BCPS.

Can't touch him with NWACP on his side. He can't do wrong even when he is wrong. He is the only one who should have been fired but was not. Such BS

    The BS Machine

    WOW!!!!!!!!

They tore into him. Judd wasn't havin' any of Runcie's spin. Not today! Definately worth watching. None of these Promise clowns ever expected the crap to hit the fan in an area where residents have the time, brains and intellect to analyze, study and pin them down with their own past statements. Think about it; had this happened in a less educated community, other than rant about a race issue, the parents would not have been able to sift through the sham that Runcie and his squad have tried to pull over on the county. These school people thought they could do their time and cash out before there was a tragedy on their watch. Petty and Schacter are starting to come around and see this for what it really is; and they're finally on the right track. It was only a matter of time. Runcie and the school board were happy that BSO took the heat for their mistakes. Runcie and the MSD administration should be prosecuted for the same neglect and perjury charges as Peterson. Then, Peterson should sue them.

You've said a lot here and I think you nailed it. When intelligent, educated people weigh out facts without emotion or an injection of race, this is typically the outcome. Blame wont reverse that day but folks need to know the true causes before they can heal. The Commissions stance on the Runce and school board along with Senator Scotts recent statements shines a bright light on the truth. Something that was intentiinally hidden by the governor and others. The true villains are surfacing. And it appears that the ones punished in the public gallows weren't the primary CAUSE. Well see how much of this turn around is covered in the filthy sentinel. Good work everyone.

This nightmare started at filthy MSD, has circled around, and landed right where it started: with the negligent, lying, reckless school administration led by a con artist who will walk out of this county having earned a total of 6 million dollars. These parents have broken through the crap that was told to them on the way to the cemetery, and have finally reached the bottom of the pile and what did they find? Runcie, his criminal school board and the Promise crew. You can see that they finally understand the game and who pulled the strings all along. Runcie has the 'reassigned' MSD admin as PRINCIPALS in other schools. There was an audible gasp. These Sheriff's ripped the covers off of Runcie. 'Bout time. IUPA should come out swinging.

Maybe the showboating POS governor will come down and start suspending the school board as well. I mean, he's all about honor and truth and justice, right? Maybe hell set up a podium in front of their headquarters and berate them publically. Fair is fair governor. Or maybe he should have just stayed the hell out of it and let the voters decide how to handle it. Hope folks are paying attention.

    Same old - same old

The BCSB created the conditions which led to the MSDHS shooting incident, by refusing to put meaningful security procedures in place to prevent such a thing from happening. The school employees failed to take ANY action, when they saw Cruz on the campus with a rifle case in hand, allowing Cruz to actually engage in the slaughter of students and teachers. And, now, they can not fire Runcie because to do so would admit the responsibility of those on the board at the time. Since that time, no meaningful security upgrades have occurred. Essential the same shortfalls exist today, which existed at the time of the MSDHS shooting. Take this to heart. The BCSB cares NOTHING for the safety of the children under its charge. NOTHING. Everything that they do is, at best, a band aid approach.

Securing a school against armed intrusion requires three things. The first is strictly controlled entry onto the premises. This requires that at least some of the employees screening those entering the campus are armed to repulse armed invasion at the POE. The second thing is a highly trained, armed reaction force. This is necessary to reinforce security personnel at the point of incursion, or to engage armed intruders who have managed to breech the perimeter. They have to be highly trained because a school is a very sensitive environment with a high number of innocent occupants who must be protected. The third thing is hardened class rooms and safe spaces and personnel trained to utilize them. Broward county schools have none of these things in place. And, they will never have them in place, if they can help it.

It is so much easier to blame any security shortfalls on local LEOs.

Good point. It was tricky because governor really cant remove a superintendent; but he CAN remove school board members. Expect that soon, he may do just that. Osgood showed her cards 2 weeks ago when she stated something to the effect that she would not consider any input from BSO until the Tamarac deps are FIRED. Essentially, she was refusing to do her job until her demands were met. That's clearly out of line, it was filmed and most likely grounds to remove her. Guessing that DeSantis would like to give the board an opportunity to force Runcie out before shaking things up; but yes, absolutely, Parkland sees the parallel here (watch the meeting, it was pointed out by parents and Sheriffs)and they're on it. These folks went into this nightmare with zero understanding of how the gears turn; it's understandable that it took quite a while for them to see the big and true picture- compounded by grief.
