The Charles Ponzi effect , better known to all FMPD street cops as the FMPD IOU pension plan! I was wondering , when is the big bomb going to be released to implode this fantasy of 3.25% multiplier, pension salary based on your highest productive last five years, and drop plans. It's obvious that all of the third floor has received inside information about what's going to explode, as most of the Captains have left the ship , and left the crew inside with no life preservers. What did you expect street cops, you work in in a city that has about 65% of the population living on the government hand-out , and a police department's budget that 70 % of it is run on federal grants. Don't worry guys and girls we have op plans in place for those getting ready to jump ship. We have to put useless op plans together so we spend the free money, keep our grants, and build up the retirement money for those that have screwed us! This just proves to me the Kool Aide crowd lives in fantasy land, no it's not free money it's my money ,your money , and the citizens money. You wonder why your country is in a 15 trillion dollar hole! The concept of free money is like the Chief Doug's 5 year plan that includes Ft. Myers being on the 100 Most Safe Cities List! The Chief's Ticket writing Quota system just shows how economically illiterate the city's department heads are. Example John Doe cop writes a 100 tickets in a month, the city receives $4.00 a ticket , and the rest goes to the county's bank account. The John Doe cop has made the city $400.00 in revenue, that doesn't even pay for the gas John Doe cop used to make those traffic stops. How about the Chief requesting more revenue intake on tickets, now you know why the LCSO has top of the line equipment, and their pension plan is stable! This Chief's Calea Empire has cost the city thousands of dollars of unnecessary spending,and a top heavy supervisor structure costing hundreds of thousands of dollars of waisted salary . 1 supervisor to every 4 street cops out of control. This is money that could have been put into your pension.

The city council doesn't even give the Pat Riley group the time of day for their casino plan in the Forum. One thing I know is gambling would of earned this city millions, and casino's bring in numerous jobs. Instead the city council funds downtown beautification projects, 4 million dollar ditch downtown, and approves the building of Renaissance Preserve better known as the "Hand out Plantation"! I didn't vote for Sellers in the election, because I knew we were in for some serious dog fights ahead with the city ,and the Kool-Aide crew running this CALEA Empire. You can't go into war with a Fredo Corleone , you go into war with a Sonny Corleone. Cecil's last two years were a primary example of that, that's why they did everything possible to get him out. Now I've stayed off the site to give Sellers the benefit of the doubt, but my grace period of patience is over. Chief Doug is at the helm of this grand Ponzi scheme, so let me get this right for every $100.00 Street Cops have put into their pension they're going to get $50.00 in return. This smells like the Bernie Madoff stock options plan. The bottom line is the city hasn't contributed into your pension for 8 years, I've heard from the inside that they used pension funds to keep the city's daily operations, and construction projects going until the economy improved. The city has a huge a unfunded liability issue, the pensions of all city employees were audited by independent financial institutes they graded the general employees pension , F.M.F.D.Pension, and FMPD Pension with an "F". The "F" means the city has the capability to fund only 35% of the pension money it owes to current retires in the near future. I think about the lies I heard two years ago in a union meeting, Sgt. Leach was standing on the soap box , stating the only way to save your pension is to take the 5.25% pay cut, freeze step plans, All that did was kick the can down the road for two more years until he could retire. What kinda of B.S. propaganda pension plan, and salary contract are the Kool-Aide drinkers going to shove down our throats to save they're their retirement funds. The city sounds like it's preparing for a chapter 9 bankruptcy,is this the secret the third floor knows and is not telling you ?

Let's review Chief Doug's 5-year Plan (1) street cops doing more work for less pay, with less cops on the road, (2) more rules and regulations restricting cops to do their job,(3)more cops fired , and more street cops property rights stolen by PSB,(4) lowest morale among street cop's ever, (5) highest two year murder rate in the city's history,(6)pension system under his oversight in collapse, and (7) More Chief's then Indians sucking salaries away from cops! Case in point a Lt. running dispatch into the ground making almost $90,00 a year disgraceful ! Shall I go on? Hello, Hello Chief Can You Hear Me Now? What the hell do you all you Chief's accomplish in these supervisor meetings, besides coming up with more crap to make street cops jobs more miserable? The Pension board is on notice for every cent the street cops lose in their pension, we are going to hold you personally financially responsible! I want to see the the actual books and statements showing where our money is! I want to see who and when the city has used our money, and who gave authorization for them too use our money!
