On Thursday June 4, 2009 the GPD dispatch center received a citizen Guest complaint of a 412 violation (person attempting to impersonate an American Indian on a message board).

An officer was dispatched and reviewed the post in question. An electronic trail was discovered and CSI: GPD was alerted. Using the CSI: GPD supercomputer, latent DNA was obtained after obtaining an electronic search warrant in under 60 seconds.

Results of the testing performed by analyst D. Wormer showed the suspect (referred to in this report only as Luke S.) was overweight, had a BAC of .28, and an EL (educational level) of 8th grade.

The video report from D. Wormer is located here:
    Video report of D. Wormer

An image of the suspect's family DNA tree was as follows:

Analysis revealed the suspect Luke S. was his own father.

Due to these circumstances, it was determined that the violation was in fact a violation of the laws of nature. The GPD does not enforce those laws. Status: No action taken.

Grammer Police is a proper noun, therefore it will be capitalized. As long as violations such as this exist, Grammer Police will live on. Get over it, get an education, and then USE IT!

    That is all. Carry on.

    Re: FHP Update

The GPD believes it is in the best interest of the message board public to clarify the term grammar and expound on the mission of the GPD.

Grammar, specifically English grammar, is the concept of properly assembling words so that they form coherent sentences. Linguistic prescription while unfamiliar to many can refer both to the codification and the enforcement of rules governing how a language is to be used.

Grammer is most commonly associated with an American actor that performed on several television shows, notably Frasier. Although he has participated in a show that was an American version of one on English television, he is by birthright an American Grammer, so he should not be confused with English grammar.

As with traffic safety, the three "E" principle also applies to grammar safety:
    Education
    Engineering
    Enforcement

The GPD and related entities are of course focused on the enforcement aspect of this tripod. The GPD realizes that numerous devices and programs have been engineered to facilitate the proper use of grammar. These include but are not limited to:
    • Dictionaries, both printed and online, [/*:m:lrwi80pb]
    • Websites dedicated to grammar and spelling, and[/*:m:lrwi80pb]
    • Software that allows message board members to spell check posts before submission [/*:m:lrwi80pb]

Likewise, the GPD recognizes it is a sad fact that the U.S. educational system despite funding from such things as 40 percent of property taxes, taxes upon the ignorant, as well as the bloated bureaucracy that redundantly regulates at the federal level contrary to the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution can only rarely produce graduates that are capable of differentiating when to use their, there, and they're.

The mission of the GPD, since they have chosen to accept it, is to enforce the grammar rules as noted in "linguistic prescription" above via the GPD team. A little known provision of the GPD's charter is that should the Chief or any of his GPD members be caught, the Secretary of the Dept. of Education will receive a 10% budget increase over and above any other increase. The GPD while not math specialists acknowledge that a budget of 5% more than last year when 10% was requested is an increase, not a "cut".

The GPD is pleased to report that 100% of their services are rendered without any expense to the taxpayer.

The mission of the GPD can be undertaken in one of two ways:
Brute force, and with condescension and arrogance, or
With humor and obscure references so as to provoke thought and research.

    Good luck, readers.

This post will self-destruct in 5 seconds. The GPD will not be going away.

The GPD appreciates your reply and will occasionally explain the humor involved in their postings for the benefit of the 95 percenters. In this instance:

The original poster began the post with the word "how" followed immediately by... nothing. This was construed as a greeting associated with American Indians.

The references to CSI: GPD were making fun of the CSI shows where the "cops" get instant print hits, search warrants, and can find out the real-time location of a suspect from the crime lab.

The references to the weight, BAC, and educational level of the suspect along with the analyst's name were a direct tie in to the Animal House clip of Dean Wormer (D. Wormer) using the phrase "fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life...".

The suspect Luke S. is a reference to the character Luke Skywalker in the film Star Wars, and the DNA testing a reference to his lineage via the line "Luke I am your father".

The "laws of nature" violation was a reference to the line used by an actor portraying a law enforcement officer in the Clint Eastwood film Any Which Way You Can after a traffic stop on a group of motorcyclists that were wearing clown wigs and makeup after losing all of their body hair.

Anyways, back to the original question, I'm not sure why they haven't updated the class activities page. They're getting pretty lazy with that.
