yes we are talking about the same McD. yes there was something in the staff notes in reference to a 3.5% for sworn and 2% for non-sworn COLA. he did not say "JUST HONKY DORY," he said they are a positive thing in spite of all the recent concerns about tax/budget issues.

i don't know what you mean about a few golden children or what that has to do with it.

i'm not trying to start an argument but i read the same notes you did and didn't think your reaction to it was very informed or rational...

if you are so concerned about what the non-sworn, civilian manager's opinion is on what our officers get paid vs. what officers in other Pinellas agencies get paid, why don't you ask him?
