MOST IF NOT ALL THE SMALL AGENCIES IN SO FLORIDA HAVE BAD REPUTATIONS THEY ALL HAVE BAGGAGE THERE POLITICIANS ARE CORRUPT AND THEY ARE ALL GUILTY OF ABUSE OF POWER NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY ALL HAVE FIRED COPS UNFAIRLY USALLY BUY LYING. BUT THE WORST THING IS THAT WHEN WE GO AND DO A BACKROUND ON AN APPLICANT WE TAKE THERE WORD AS GOSPEL....

I used to backgrounds, and I did not always believe everything was said about applicants. In most cases I found that what I was being told could not be produced with paper to back it up. Alot of good officers got hired when other agencies wouldn't even think about hiring them....

I worked for the Miccosukee PD back from 1999-2002 and we had a good group of Officers, plus a pyscho Capt. that in the end proved too be good. If he wasn't giving all his stuff to ArchenRat. The bottom line is that, the agency is not bad, the Indians have to get off the pot and raise the starting salary to $48,000 a year for the officers and give take home cars. Then you'll see the candiadtes come, furthermore, those that feel that they are not real cops becuase they work in tribal police, I can only say this. You have an active LEO cert, a badge, and a gun with the powers to make arrests. A cop is a cop no matter what, and let me tell you with the crap of City of Miami and Hialeah, Micco is way better off.

Yeah, now I can say I've done all the real shit like getting stabbed, shot at, been in several vehicle chases, numerous foot chases and many on my own, I have a blck Sgt that is a racist militant, and you know what, if I knew then what I know now. I would have stayed at Micco and made easy money and not really have to woory about shit.

Yeah, the good ole Archenrat got 39'd for tampering with a witness, and a bun ch of other shit. Most of us knew the guy was dirty. The only thing about that micro-psycho manager ex Capt. Clink was that he tried to have the guys do a lot of specialized shit. In a way thats good. And no, I don't miss them at all. One thing I can say, it dosen't matter where you go, all law enforcement agencies are like this. Their full of problems, you fight for peanuts when it comes to raises, and yet this so called democracy expects you to go ahead and give your life in the line of duty. What needs to happen is a major reality check by this country. Crime and terrosim go hand in hand. Most of what the terrosits do, the criminals do. Heck they were doing shit way before Al-Qida was anything but a pimp on someone's ****. They need to stop paying all these lawyers, middle managers, administrators, secretaries, accountants all this money and they need to jack up substanially the pay of the police officer across the board. Until that happens, which ot won't, we are going to have problems. If you guys at Micco get a chance, read that book by Dennis Wise. You'll be amazed at the shit we got through from everyone just to make peanuts.

fot those of us who are on days twelve hour shofts must be the best thing but for those who are stuck on b shift i would like to speak for all when i say this sucks. cna anyone please tell me when does someone think we will be back on our regular shift because twelve hour check points suck .
