    Loss of an Officer

    From LEOAffairs.com, I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the men and women of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in the tragic death of Officer Corey Russ on Saturday, December 30th.
    The loss of an officer is always difficult to bear and is especially hard during this time when we should be celebrating the joyous holidays instead of mourning an unfortunate loss.
    Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Please be careful out there and remember your number one job is to return home safe at the end of each and every shift.
