    Teamsters Law Enforcement League

Just so everyone knows, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters represents law enforcement officers. This is not new, just not very well known. The Teamsters will agressively represent it's members. Teamsters Local 385, http://www.local385.org has represented police officers and deputy sheriff's for well over ten years. Local 385 employs active and retired law enforcement officers as business agents to better represent it's members. These business agents have considerable experience in representing officers/deputies in internal affairs investigations and the disciplinary process. If your agency is not represented, or you are considering making a change, please contact the Teamsters. Teamsters has a hundred year history of representing members to improve wages, hours, and working conditions, no other union can say that.

    wasted dues

So are you guys tires of paying the FOP dues for nothing? If you remember the FOP expressed how much the PBA was not doing, well just check out their website. It appears that the PBA have finished ECSO's contract and it looks pretty damn good in my opinion. So I have to say that it's time to take a stand and get the ass kissers out of our way and get the better conditions for ourselves. I think the FOP have had plenty of time and it's obvious that they are not doing anything for US. Time for them to be replaced.

No disrespect to Mr. Guest3614, but the PBA in Florida is the largest lobbying group and largest Union in the State. This is a right to work State, therefore not many unions exist. However we do have the right to collective bargaining. In my personal opinion, i feel that on a State level, we get more with the PBA, however locally, the unions mainly handle contracts and legal representation. I personally feel that PBA and/or FOP give you more bang for your buck. But if you need to bust up a few kneecaps to get a contract signed, i`m sure you teamsters can "Chiamo Don Corleone" and a horse head is in someones bed, and "viola" a contract gets signed... "Molto Bene"....
