The "actual" (recently changed) requirement for the degree has been removed after discussions with the FDLE Agents Assn. when FDLE discovered that such a "requirement" would remove the agents ability to collect incentive monies.

The Dept. has made it quite clear though even though it is not "REQUIRED" they will not hire without it under A/C Bailey.

Will have to wait for the new crowning for the future Agency directive on the issue.

Well if that is true then they need to let us know that and change the information on the public website.

I recently applied and have no college degree. I was called in for for an interview and took a basic skills test at the Miami Office. After the test I was fingerprinted. I was notified that I passed the test and asked to go to Jacksonville for another interview and a physical agility test. I'M I WASTING MY TIME ? Can someone advise me. Thank you.
