    ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida Highway Patrol trooper remained
    hospitalized in serious condition Sunday morning after a driver slammed into
    his cruiser, investigators said.

    Trooper Peter Hooker was on the scene of a previous crash along the Central
    Florida Greenway at Valencia College Lane when the accident happened.

    Investigators were trying to find out whether or not the driver who hit the
    trooper's cruiser was drinking.

    The northbound lanes of the Greenway were blocked for more than five hours.

    No broken bones, he is home and is doing alot better.
