I hope that it is not true. But that is a serious accusation to make. I need alot more than 5th floor gossip to believe there is anti-semetism in the department. Just like I would need to see evidence that the department is anti anything. Everyone has a special class in SFPD and the department cators to them all at various times. It's the price of doing business in San Francisco I guess.

Is it true that the command staff might bring charges against the officers who blocked this nut job in for violating policy?????

You know, if the Command staff did bring disciplinary charges against the officers who blocked this nut in, I wouldn't even be the slightest bit surprised. As far as I am concerned, If Nick Birco (may he rest in peace) hadn't died, he would have had to face the powers that be. Once again I ask: Is there any question why the crime rate is climbing so high? If you handcuff your officers, you paralyze them and therefor you paralyze the city.

It looks as though Michael Savage feels the same way. I heard him describe this incident as "...the biggest cover-up in the history of the SFPD!"

WIll they ever learn?
