Considering who is ultimately in charge of the Federal system that's a lot like the pot calling the kettle black isn't it?
It's all a matter of perspective. I work with 2 other specialists who are always stressing. We all have the same boss, report to the same office, have a nice rural area to supervise, and the same amount of asssignments. Yet, they are struggling.....always focusing on the negative. I honestly don't get it. I am in my position because I enjoy what I do. Why other people do a job and complain about it is beyond my comprehension. I think at least half of all the stress PO's feel is self induced. This job is a people job. If you aren't good at getting along with others it's not going to be easy, plain and simple.

Fed Probation the pay is a lot better ( more than most LEO's even with a lot of time ) and the retirement is a little less % wise but when you account for the pay difference it is actually a bigger retirement check also. You have to go out of state to get your first position usually because all the California Fed etc ones apply to Florida taking most of the positions here in Florida.
