BBOOOOO HHOOOOOO !!!!
Hum........
Well, it appears our African American friends have found something
else to be pissed about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila
Jackson Lee, of Houston) reportedly complained that the names of
hurricanes are all Caucasian-sounding names.
She would prefer some names that reflect African-American culture such
as Chamiqua, Woeisha, and Jamal. I can hear it now: A black weatherman
in Houston saying...
"Wordup, Muthas! Herr-i-cane Chamiqua be headin' fo' Galveston like
Leroy on a crotch rocket! ***** be a category fo'! So, turn off dem
chitlins, grab yo' chirren, leave yo crib, and head fo' de nearest
FEMA office fo yo FREE shit!

should you ask for them to be called by birth names or streetnames? It could become quite colorful,if you think about it!!

Either way, they're going to lie to you, so why bother to ask?
Just remember, if their lips are moving, they're lying!

Hurricane Names of African Origin - Houston Congresswoman
Not so damned fast Congresswoman... I'm of the Italian Heritage and I want....no...I demand that Hurricanes be named after important Italians of the past n' present.
Like....Hurricanes Vito (Corleone)...or Hurricane Hurricane John (Gotti)...or Fettucini (Alfredo) and let's not forget Hurricane Al (Capone).
This Houston Congresswoman must be insane (with nothing to do) to charge that Hurricanes are only named after Caucasians. "Bill" (Cosby) is a Black, so is "Harry" Belefonte...and "Jesse" Jackson...and "Chris" Rock, not to mention "Martin" Luther King Jr.
She...the Houston Congresswoman... needs to get a life and stop reinforcing the Afro-American Myth....it's old hat in 2006!
Besides...waiting impatiently on the landfall of a Hurricane named Moesha...or Tanganekette, or Tyrone... would make me barf.
