Well, I have seen some 6 foot 2 15 year olds out there that would put up a heck of a fight.

Under the proposed bill, one could punch the crap out of you and fight like hell and if you tased him, then cuffed him and had your partner take him to jail while you went to get your jaw reattached, you would be summoned to booking to be processed. Then the kid would be sent home for home detention, the case will be no filed and you will be sued by the kid in federal court. This unfortunately is a real possibility.

Thank God use of the expandable baton is currently lower on the matrix. Deep muscle bruising and potential broken bones from an ASP is better for the resisting bad guy than a 5 second jolt? Ummmm, OK.

The bleeding hearts don't realize how many lives have been saved by use of ECD products. I say make them completely illegal. Lets go back to the old open/empty hands, pain compliance, closed fist strikes, baton strikes, deadly force. This may thin the violent criminal heard.
