Ok not to be rude but did you read any of the post on here. Now to answer your question, no it is not a good Department to work for. Now if you have family working there you got it made and if you want to move up kiss the right ring and F up alot you will move up. Anyway good luck and stay away from Homestead.

Does a bear $hit in the woods?

    Best ever!!!

Great pay, and if you discover how to insert your head far enough and tightly enough up certain persons rectums ensuring a hermetic seal you will rise right to the top regardless of knowledge, skill, or ability.

That goes quadruply so if your daddy/family is part of the brass.

Why is not a good agency? Pros and cons?

Also, do they start of officers more with experience? Is there a lot of overtime and off duty?

Any info from anyone would be great, thanks.

Like said above in not so many words, it's the friends and family plan, 100%.

If you are willing to help the chief cover up crimes, and retaliate against enemies, you will be fine and rapidly promoted.

If you are actually intelligent, honest, or report corruption your career will be over.
