Everything is fine. The detective running the investigation now has an attorney and won’t be talking which means Ortiz Rittenhouse will be back.

It’s insane how these people in charged are so evil. They knew the investigation was screwed up from the get-go, but of course they are going to point fingers at the peasants rather than own up to their mistakes. Good for the investigator to get attorneys.
Note: if you are ever in trouble to the point that you may need legal counsel, DO NOT let the FOP provide you with a BS rep, GET YOU AN ATTORNEY.

General IA can’t wait to see this go
Interim Chief Morales thought by having Brandon Lanier head the investigation under loyal soldier, Tony Perez, the Captain would be toast. Perez used his brightest Detective to come after him. They knew they were violating the Captain’s rights and got caught. The bright detective has his own attorney now and is preparing to say he was ordered to go forward from the Chief on down to do whatever it takes. The investigation is now on hold for a hearing in which it will all be exposed. The Captain will be cleared again.
