Why do Staff Members think they are entitled to remain in their positions forever?

Staff Positions are appointed and you can be demoted at will without any explanations. FYI.. The same way you got that big promotion you can get demoted just as fast without any explanations.

Morales should be allowed to pick his own people. There should be a limit of ni more than 5 years. Let other people get a chance to max out their retirements.

This happens all the way down to detective champ look at some people in there that have been bounced from one position to another never going back to the road. Rodriguez perfect example

Then they cry like little babies and want to sue. All of the suddenly they become disgruntle and start talking trash saying how this place sucked. They do a complete shut down.

I remember when Llanes got demoted back to Lt and sent to midnights northend. Boy how funny. The guy would only show up to work on paper. Commander Alfonso who was also demoted to Lt would cover up for him. Llanes would go drinking and 33 on duty everyday on his boat. Once he became Chief he changed back to this place was wonderful. One day Ortiz had him followed. They video tape him buying beer on duty and going to a motel with his girlfriend. 🤣👍

Jorge Gomez did something similar. When he got demoted after Exposito took over, he was put in charged of Downtown Beats. He used to tell his officers, F this place, don’t do Jack. When he got promoted again under Orosa, he went back to saying this place was great. Someone asked him about what he had said when he got demoted, he said he never said that. 😂

What some people fail to realize is that all these staff members become politicians once they get promoted. They are all bull shitters and liars and that’s what politicians are. If you think one second any of these people care or are looking for your best interest you are living a dream. Wake up!! Someone once told me to look out for myself and screw everyone else. It’s hard to digest that when we portray to be a thin blue line family. If you don’t see it now because you are new, eventually you will. Happy thanksgiving week you all.
