    I want everyone to put their thinking caps on, seriously.

    We know Tony is history, and the million dollar question will be who will replace him. Let's stop with anyone in the current command staff. They don't bring anything to the table. Remember, whoever is chosen, it will be based on how much it benefits the governor, not the agency.
    So, who has the most influence in the Republican party, past or present? Who has some kind of political establishment in Broward, both republican and democrat?
    And no, it's not Lamberti.

    Pardon won’t erase his criminal conviction. That stays with him forever. It would be awesome to have him back but not power track

    Are we talking just anyone in the country? A Floridian? A Broward person? A cop? Someone with actual police leadership? A lawyer? Someone to make DeSantis' republican base happy or someone who can actually work with our strongly democratic county government and city mayors. Lots of different categories he could pull someone from.
