Because the City is using the County overtime given by the County Mayor granted for the Gun Violence Detail to pay for overtime and other things within our Department. Sad to know the City will always be full of scams!

Your stupidity knows no limit , when so called police officers and sgts run the scam of hiding in an office while getting pay as officers and supervisor that unit was a mess , people were denied time off all the time , people were drafted constantly to other zones , of course they didn't pay overtime because they were denying time off and forcing you to be here and sending you to other net areas and they had zones below the limit .

Wait until the city finds out how much OT is being paid, that will be the end of the drafting issue. Obviously the people in staffing are lost in the sauce too.
