    Half Fake Applause (Shootings)

Apparently if you’re involved in a shooting, like you pull the trigger, you get an award! Whether you’re the guy who should have pulled the trigger or you’re the idiot who got scared by the loud noise and had sympathetic fire (aka accidental discharge or premature ejection of a round). I see a problem, apparently the Admin doesn’t. In most shootings one person found the guts to do what they had to do under high stress. But in most shootings a few people can’t do anything but react to scary things and crank off late, sometimes inaccurate rounds that were not necessary. But sadly they all get the same award. Does anyone ever talk to the trigger jerkers about how wrong they were? Or are we back in “Everyone Gets a Trophy” mode? Let’s see how long that mode lasts when one of these weak kneed trigger snapper’s AD hits an innocent person or another deputy because they lack self control. Guess it’s all or none with the current mood upstairs.

Is there anything you don’t complain about? If 3 people shoot and the bad guy is hit 7 times just who do you propose is the real shooter as you call it and who is the tag along sympathetic shooter? What are they supposed to do pick only one?

Ya I guess from now on only one person out of multiple deputies facing the same threat should shoot. And if that person misses then they miss. Brilliant idea!!!

Never fear hero, we still reward sympathetic fire at PCSO. Nothing like rewarding nervous energy that accidentally pulls the trigger after it’s over.
