Better odds of getting in to see the mayor than our wonderful chief.

Really don’t understand the logic of switching unions. Gaide is a absolute trash bag and lazy sack of crap, why would anyone trust him. Have you idiots not seen how crappy the other union is and how they are far worse then the one we have

    IUPA UNION ELECTION UPDATE

    Congratulations Everyone!

We have filed for a Union election with the Public Employees Relations Commission (PERC) that will give you the opportunity to vote for IUPA as your new Union. We will keep you informed every step of the way as this process progresses. The most asked question at this point is when will the election take place? Depending on how busy PERC is, you can generally expect to vote on your new Union sometime in the next 60 to 90 days.

At this time, IUPA is going through an unprecedented growth spurt across the nation and Florida in particular. In the past 3 years, we have brought on almost a dozen units in the state of Florida. All of our units are serviced with top-notch attorneys to negotiate contracts and represent members in critical matters. Our Legal Defense Fund is one of the healthiest funds in the country and was recently audited with over 30 million dollars in reserves. Unlike other unions, we have no cap on our legal coverage.

We will be setting up meetings in the near future to discuss what IUPA can do for you both at the negotiations table and in the field. All will be welcome to attend and ask questions. We at IUPA thank you for your support and look forward to representing you in the future.
