    FDLE Hiring Agents and other positions

    I see that FDLE is hiring, how's the pay and job there as an Agent? Starting at $46K is no better than a lot of the SO's but wondering overall what to expect?

    Read through all the forums on here

    this place is a complete shit show....From targeting people to hostile work environments. They control CJSTC, so they can do whatever they want to your career.....Stay where you are

    $46K Starting.. you can make more at Costco. And that's the quality of people you get, the low ball wage earner that has a big ego because they think they work someplace special. And of course, ask or read around... it's a circus ran by clowns.

    Of course if you're running from a problem at another Agency, you're the prime candidate for hire here and your problems will be welcome if not embraced later by any idiot that may be impressed with where you came from.. because if they've been at FDLE their entire career they haven't done a thing. Even the commissioner hasn't done anything and came up from a clerk position and rode his career behind task forces that did all his work.

    You know what's left at FDLE?

    The SCUMBAGS at the top that are power-mongering liars, cheaters, shitheads, and egotistical douchebags. All that toot their own horn and command you see them as everything they think they are.. Or else. This is 90% of Supervisors and above. A few good people are there, but they are put in their place and threatened to do what they are told, even mistreat employees at upper management direction, and they will stoop to doing it to save themselves.

    The middle-of-the road employees, stuck with a short time left before they can get out from under the tyranny. All the while thinking it was going to get better, hoping that at first the people forced out would actually make the place better, but all that did was give the upper-management the taste of blood and power. The lives of these people is pathetic but they have to do what they have to do.

    The newcomers- the "yes-men" that they can mold to their ways at an entry salary. There will be no questioning the upper dipshits from these people. More for them, less for these people. Most likely had problems from the Agency they came from and FDLE seemed like a good place to go. Once hired, the reality of the shit-show makes them either regret thier decision or come to the conclusion that it's at least better than where they came from.

    Only weenies work at FDLE, and only weenies want to leave a real law enforcement job to work at FDLE.

    So please, fulfill your weenie destiny and go work at one of the most laughable LE Agencies in the state.

    You may be better going to an Airport PD or going to work the courthouse, quite frankly. LMAO

    This is what you really need to know:

    Leadership has been in place for 6 years, all during which they have made sure to establish absolute power with no ability for employees to legitimately stand against targeting, mistreatment, and fairness to employees in whole. Sure there is Policy and Procedures, but all decisions and allegations are handled by them and they can rule any way they want.

    PBA was methodically weakened to make sure no one could dare question RS, TF, and anyone up top.

    RUN away from this agency.

    I feel bad for the Cops that spent their lives working and being committed to FDLE, only to be harassed, ran over, targeted, and shit all over by Swearingen, Foy, and how they managed to ruin the Agency.

    Foy shit all over every single region he was in and managed to get a promotion to Assistant Commissioner over a better qualified, more tenured Black Male who also was in the running. Draw your own conclusions from that.

    The spiral is complete and the damage is done with FDLE, no longer is this the family friendly place where "Service, Quality, INTEGRITY, RESPECT" is the norm. No more "Respect for each individual (aka Member lol) and their contributions to the Agency".. now it's we don't like someone and could care less about them, their family, or what they did to commit their lives to law enforcement. They care about themselves and a few others that make them LOOK good. The don't have feelings so it's not about feeling good to them. And remember, this is STATE EMPLOYEES they treat like shit.. not criminals.

    Why anyone would want to come to FDLE is beyond me. The best people that FDLE has to offer is the ones that have already left FDLE... those are the ones with Integrity and think FDLE members, whether they like them or not, are worthy of being family...

    But most people are trying to get out of FDLE, not join it. You will be very surprised at what you find if you get hired at FDLE. Leadership is garbage that has had control for way too long.

    I agree with everything except for the second paragraph. The person you mention as being better qualified is also destroying morale and is an abysmal manager. They need to look outside the agency to rebuild...black, white whatever...just hire from outside like they did the SAC in Orlando.
