This department is the biggest joke. We have a sheriff that went to college for 8 years but couldn't graduate he couldn't even graduate high school so he got his fed, couldn't even pass the state exam, and was fired from the Naples Police Department. held the press conference with the Cape Coral Police Chief after realizing they screwed up again the only thing he does is pay well this place is a circus and that's hilarious. I enjoy my night shift and completing my area checks watching everybody get promoted and demoted that was his best friend.

OMG this is breaking news we've never heard?! You former disgruntled misfits sound like a broken record. You know your beyond frustration when you keep pretending you still work here and part of your insults include he's raised the pay to record levels. Even your criticism compliments the sheriff. You misfits keep getting older and realize neither you nor ANY of your contacts will ever bin control of LCSO again.

Why is a Lee County Sheriff giving a press conference on a case that’s not in his jurisdiction? Does he have some expertise in murder Investigstions or forensic anthropology that we’re not aware of? What connection does have to the Petito/Laundrie case? Will he then travel around the county holding press conferences on high profile cases? Has he ever investigated a homicide in his somewhat sketchy law enforcement career?

Given that his is the most popular and successful sheriff in LCSO history what does that say for past sheriffs and past administrations? Any cop can obtain paper degrees and attend classes. A legitimate argument would be to compare law enforcement experience, however, that argument is negated with the overall success of sheriff's office operations and investigations. When you add in the best pay and equipment in recent history you can argue bringing an honest forward thinking sheriff with a business background has far exceeded the past sheriffs and their administrations as better "qualified" with their reputations and scandals.
