Acevedo’s quick and determined actions against the officer in question, has now caused him his high salary Chief of police position. Mayor Suarez immediate safety was placed at risk, and city commissioners who dislike the mayor, were offended by Chief Acevedo’s corrective actions against the weak link officer. All three commissioners voiced their feelings and opinions about the incident and coerced and threatened chief Acevedo to manipulate the internal affairs investigation and return the officer to his position as sergeant at arms. The actions of these three commissioners are criminal in nature. They are coercion, bribery, obstruction, threat to a public servant, and so on. We refuse to allow these commissioners to continue representing our community and police officers. These three individuals are toxic to our organization and citizens of our beautiful city. Come November, we strongly ask for our community to vote these politicians out of office.

They may try to win but definitely numerous media sources are looking into this incident and political corruption in Miami is unacceptable. We have no room for corruption. It has been brought to our recent attention that commissioner Joe Carollo had been expelled and terminated from the Miami dade police department as an officer, for placing a racist KKK emblem on another recruits locker. How and why is this individual an employee of the city of Miami? He continues to harass, ridicule, hate, and embarrass other employees and the city charter allows this behavior?????! This mr Suarez and mr Noriega is by far unacceptable and racist. We strongly suggest and demand the immediate removal of Joe Carollo from the city of Miami commissioners board. It is the upmost responsibility of our city leaders to protect all races and mr carollo definitely does not meet ethical standards to represent the citizens in Miami.

Never in the history of the Miami police department have we experienced the Fraternal order of police lodge 20 participate in the firing of a police chief. Tommy and the lodge contributed with a poll where members were asked to vote and discredit and discriminate against Chief Acevedo. Will this become a norm? Can we do the same against all future chiefs? Tommy we have commissioner carollo and all the others at city hall by their testicles. We will not settle for just any simple contract. We deserve what the commissioners promised us behind the curtains in exchange for conspiring against chief Acevedo. We want a 30% pay raise and all incentives we had and those we ask for now. Mayor Suarez and manager Noriega, you both contributed to a fraudulent act by skipping over applicants in order to hire Acevedo and later abandoned ship and once again victimized his family, himself and the citizens of Miami. We no longer are in need of your services. Both of you must and shall remove yourselves from office.
