Listen I have nothing to say about the guy. But I’m surprised that he is still here. Papo you were brought back to help and guide Acevedo. The man is not here any longer so why are you doing still here. It’s time to retire but I guess you are waiting to get fired. Your position is going to be given most likely to Valatine. Starting first,

You don’t go to war with the FOP president or commissioners
You don’t take leave without docing the time
You don’t curse at people.
You don’t cover up a minor accident / damage report that has visible damage.
You don’t ROD or terminate people for things you are doing
You don’t allow a outsider deputy chief to disrespect staff
You don’t call your bosses Cuban mafia
You don’t make jokes cause you are not a Comedian
You don’t hire an attorney who doesn’t represents you at a hearing.
You don’t attack the state attorneys office or the gov
You don’t write a memo saying the commissioners are corrupt

But the biggest mistake you made was trusting and not terminating Javier Ortiz.

All of these and more I blame E/A Chavez for not guiding him correctly

Acevedo hired the wrong guy for the job. Chavez though not a bad guy, never had a pulse on this department. He was always an inside guy. Acevedo should’ve tapped a Patrol Segment and has a good following but the rank and file. Instead, he gave his friend a job.
