NORTH PORT – Sarasota Sheriff Kurt Hoffman submitted an affidavit that disputes assertions in a de-annexation feasibility study conducted for the City of North Port.

Nikki C. Day, the city’s attorney with of the Tampa-based law firm of Bryant Miller Olive, argued that Hoffman's affidavit should not be considered by Circuit Judge Hunter W. Carroll.

Per the Florida Sunshine Law, you may submit a public records request to the Sarasota Sheriff's Office to get a copy of all paperwork that was submitted by Kurt Hoffman, regarding his projected cost for providing services, as it relates to the lawsuit. It has not been publicly posted, at the time of this writing.
