Major shake up at Florida PBA

Employees at the PBA have been growing weary of the leadership. Many threatened to walk out and the executive director no longer wanted to serve in that position due to the gross mismanagement.
How this affects us is still unknown but suffice it to say that Captain Biardi is not capable of doing things in his own which means we get screwed AGAIN.

Why would anyone pay dues to this union is beyond me. Two on my compound were written up and when the hearing took place, pba folded. After seeing that, many quit the union. It is a waste of money.

Absolutely! The PBA and captain Biardi told us a bunch of BS to get our money back but they don’t fight for us. They care about the troopers more

Can we ask that captain Biardi step down or be removed?

I think that’s a clear sign that we need to find another representative. One where we don’t have to compete with cops to get what we deserve. PBA across the state is crumbling.

Let it crumble. PBA has sold us all out. We need to beg FOP to take us in as our representatives.

Agreed! At least the old PBA fought for us. But this new PBA is definitely not an improvement. Who is the president anyways? Obviously, he’s the issue that destroyed the organization.

Rumor has it that a belligerent blow out was experienced at a tally restaurant with some PBA folks being evicted. What an embarrassment!!!
