    Chief why don’t you reassign at least two officers from working the 24 hours detail guarding the mayors house.

    This pattern of seemingly unstoppable violent crimes is the reason Houston's Mayor did not renew Acevedo's contract, ostensibly firing him. Francis Suarez and Art Noriega ignored that fact, assuming they brought in the next John F. Timoney. Instead, they brought in a bloviating fool long on talk and short on measurable successes regarding violent crimes.
