    Significant officer saftey issue

How do you justify only 4 officers in all of area 2 per shift? and only 4 officers in area 3 per shift ?? Besides this as a huge vicarious liability for the safety of the residents and the officers .... the response time will be pushed way , way, way back . Chief delucca and the city attorney established this under litigation many, many years ago. The city and this administration will be held accountable WHEN someone gets hurt or worse. Now our officer saftey needs to be in the contract too. Area 2 requires 7 officers per shift Area 3 requires 6. Empty out those closets ASAP all those hidden cops and sergeants that don't do squat. cancel everyone detached get them on the streets if you dont you are going to lose your azz in civil suits. Come on people are you trying to help destroy the city?? Where is your F.O.P.? ??? do you officers go to your FOP meetings? How can you justify 4 officers in area 2 and 4 in area 3? You cannot. Some one is going to get hurt. The 12 hour shit is a other epic failure this is not rural Polk county . Hialeah is managed better for God's sake.

If they would quit protecting the ones in non police positions and bring them back to patrol bring back a sergeant that is at the state attorneys office assigned to human trafficking and supervising no one and who only spent 6 weeks in patrol and banged off every Saturday And put the failed SET team officers back on patrol we could staff the street. This is not a Man power issue it’s a miss use of resources issue As usual this administration has the bodies but they are protecting so many people they have lost sight of what police work is.

Hate to say it, but a Sgt. detached to the SAO that's supervising no one is clearly a poor management of resolves!

Do you really hate to say it? I doubt it because I have a feeling that you are ***** all the time. YOU are part of the problem. Instead of worrying about what other people are doing, do your job. You think having another Sgt on the street will make your life better?
