There’s a lot of pissing and meaning about the mandatory “vaccine” going on at TPD. The same folks that had no problem obeying the chiefs and mayors illegal orders to “handle” people for not social distancing or not wearing masks in the early days of covid. As cops you should have (and may have) known that you can’t arrest or fine people for policy violations. Not a single covid mandate has gone through the legislature as laws must do. But you enforced those rules. Thankfully our governor threw out every case you made because the cases were illegal. Now you face the same draconian heavy hand of authoritarian rule and are upset. “[Biden’s] executive order villainizes employees for reasonable concerns and hesitancies and inserts the federal government into individual medical decisions. People should not be made to feel uncomfortable for making a reasonable medical choice,” Larry Cosme, President of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) wrote.

Cosme said the association will be ‘reviewing the legal landscape’ for Biden’s order.

“We will continue to review the legal landscape for this order and act as appropriate to support our members and voice their concerns. We are a nation built on freedom. We are law enforcement officers who defend that freedom. And we deserve the freedom to make our own health decisions,” he added.

Code enforcement did the fines not TPD. We just had to standby so they did not get a beat down.

Is that like her instructions to “close down” YBOR every night by telling people they “have to” leave a public sidewalk? Man if the media wasn’t in her pocket they’d realize most of those patrons are of a protected class and being unlawfully instructed to do something under the color of law. But, I digress.
