This is true for all those who never became the actual Director except for JD Patterson and Carlos Alvarez. Now here is a guy who did over 30 years and retired. Went straight into working for Miami Gardens as the Assistant Chief. All the while he claims to be an Associate Pastor of a Church.

Now if that is so and he is actually a real Pastor, why isn't he out of government after he retired and ruined many officers lives to include former Captain Tyrone White, who actually sued JD Patterson in court. Look it up under White v Miami-Dade County and JD Patterson.

How can you claim to serve God yet continue serving the government with a full pension of about 13000 a month? He should have been satisfied and enjoyed his life with his wife and family.

Instead, he kept working, staying out, and trying to be on television at large events, until COVID-19 struck him and unfortunately his wife.

He was very sick with the corona virus, and his wife who was a nice person died from COVID-19.

With 13000 dollars a month, shouldn't he had been home enjoying life with his wife and family when he first retired? Shouldn't he had been serving God, as a Pastor, fulltime?

No instead he catches COVID-19 and gets sick, and then his wife catches it and dies while he kept working.

The love of money is the root of all evil.

In addition, he takes the job as a appointed Chief Public Safety Officer, for more money, but does not give God nor the Church the amount of time required to pastor the sheep. When is a enough, enough?

Carlos Alvarez served over 30 years. He had a 16000 dollar monthly pension. He also served as the Director of MDPD. Yet it just wasn't enough. He became Strong Mayor. He have his God son Dennis Morales a sweet high paying job of 23000 dollars a year. He was untouchable for a little while. All this for money and power. He gave himself a large 6 figure mayor salary on top of his pension. What profits a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?

It's never enough for these so called family men. It's the MDPD way. Now at the height of his Mayor position he was politically attacked by a Jewish Billionaire, Mr. Norman Braman. He was recalled and kicked out of office. To stay in the limelight, he starts taking steroids and competing in bodybuilding competitions. Unfortunately the roids caused him to become abusive and physically violent with his girlfriend Lt. Alvarez. He spits in her face and text messages her he Hope's she dies from stage four cancer. He knew she had cancer but didn't give a shit.

Carlos Alvarez got arrested and taken to jail. She would later get arrested for burglary to his condominium in Coral Gables, make the news several times, and tell horror stories about Carlos Alvarez abuse.

Again, once you leave the Miami-Dade Police Department, enjoy your life but stay out of law enforcement if you can. It just is not worth it.

Others like Chief Organvidez, Chief Ubieta, and Major Rey Valdes, all ended up in Doral after they retired instead of being home enjoying life with their families after retirement with big pensions from their years at MDPD.

Finally, Chief Delma Noel Pratt. She had high Hope's and aspirations to become the first black female Director of MDPD. Unfortunately, she was overlooked for JP and so she left at 25 years to become the Police Chief of Miami Gardens. Basically that would be equivalent to a District Major. She ends up making the news because her daughter was supposedly working at Starbucks and a crazy black make pulled out a gun on her and attempted a Robbery.

You see, cops are very self centered and self serving individuals. Family really doesn't matter to them at all.

They spend more time on a job and miss out on what is and who is really important to them.

Now what if her daughter was hurt in that armed Robbery attempt. She would never had forgave herself for not being able to protect her own daughter because she is protecting the public.

Thankfully nothing horrible happened at Starbucks but you all with rank and time on really need to get over yourselves and start enjoying your families.

Not upset at all. It’s people that worry more about others and their old fortune and ambition that are truly the problem in this world and are the miserable ones not those who make the most of opportunities which are offers to them
