    Talking Compression!

So the compression study is done! Guess what new people are getting the majority of the money! Anyone with 15 plus years gets minimal! Over 20 you get nothing! A shame and I’ll bet the BOCC doesn’t know how this is being done! How can you be in a spot for 20 plus years and not be capped! Crazy how this place thinks! Another thing a captain has a starting pay to cap is a span of 46k that’s.a potential for a 48% increase before being capped out! Lt has a span of being capped at 23k which is a possibility of being capped at 27% for future raises! SMH! A sgt has a pay scale of starting till capped at 23,400 and a potential to get a 33% in raises before being capped! A DFC Has a pay scale getting to a cap of 33.4 k or the potential of a 67% pay increase before being capped! SMH! Nothing makes sense! You raised starting pay thousands but did nothing for the most senior officers here! You are a liar and you have just shown who you are! Where’s the money really going!

This is how he treats his family. We were played by day one. This guy lied to gain our trust. A true political POS. New hires get a raise while we get close to nothing again. He is trying to push the experience deputies out the door.

Don’t like it, quit. The disgruntled ones are always the laziest ones.

Wow, you seriously are some of the biggest cry babies I’ve ever seen. Let’s be realistic, most of the deputies here have around 8-10 years on and are probably mostly around 50-52k. Judging by the pay scale they will now be in the 60k range. Are you seriously going to sit here and complain about a double digit raise?

The newer deputies with 3-4 years on will be moving to 55-57k from around 46-48k. If you look at the numbers everyone is getting a similar raise, but in the end the senior guys are going to make more.

We are not, and never will be CCPD. We cannot afford to pay guys 80-90k a year as a DFC. It’s just not realistic. You people need to get your head out of your ass and stop complaining about the fact that you will be taking easily a thousand more a month home.

Also, maybe you should stop crying about new guys getting raises too. Are they not allowed to be paid well and provide for their families too? You’re still making 10-15k more than them. Be happy.

If you were already at 70k, what did you expect? To make 100k a year now? Be realistic. This was always to solve the problem of mid range guys not making any money due to the years of no raises.

You’re already getting paid great as a cop if you’re not getting a raise from this. Let the 8-10 year guys have a turn.

No pay study was ever done, you will never see it. It was a lie. Horrible pay adjustments that left out the senior officers. Disgusting.

    Pay

So what is starting pay going to?
Are they paying for outside experience?

Starting will be $50,000 for new hires and $ 50,000 for anyone with 20 years or more of experience in the agency. If you are lucky you might get a cookie that has Carmines name on it.

I’ve heard 52,000 and 1,000 for every year of experience up to 10 years.
