What about the S.E.T. SGT’s? One came from DB and Rid. They have some guidance right. I believe they all will leave together nonetheless.

One thing is to be an officer on RID/CST. Totally different as a Supervisor. Add to the fact of the Chief giving them Code Red. From what I’ve seen the situation was getting out of hand and there was no leadership by any of the rookie sgt/Lt.

What happened to those officers was their own doing. Especially Sabater he had no justification for rushing that guy the way he did. New no filming ordnance violation or not the guy wasn’t resisting arrest or being a threat so nobody can justify him being taken down like he was. At the very least Sabater will lose his career, at worst he will be convicted of battery. Regardless it’s on to gay porn for him because of one bad choice.

All of the SET squad is filled with inexperience. Rookies that think they are invincible to the world. Humble down. A little advice.... you are just a number to the police department. No matter what you do great in your career, the negatives will always shine brighter. Stay humble, work hard (Smart), do what you have to do to, never take shit personal at work and make sure you’re able to carry out the longevity of your career to provide for your family.

Too bad our own Chief didn’t relay this to them. He was probably too busy putting handcuffs on a lifetime 38. He’s needs to leave and go teach Little puppies at the academy where he can inflate his ego even more and share all of his bull$hit war stories. Never was a Patrol Sgt/Lt., Never ran a zone and he never went to a SWAT school. But he does talk a great game. He let the City come up with an unconstitutional ord. that he should have known would have jammed one of us but once again he was too busy stopping that car for loud music. Any new chief should use him as an example of what NOT to do as a chief. His desperation to combat the element that the City has catered to led to AD/CD and SET. He knew that seasoned officers would never volunteer for this crazy idea during these crazy times. So he blew smoke up these new kids a$$ and look what happened.
