Well I see that post obviously ruffled some feathers….maybe I should look else where haha. Everyone says its not LEO yet you have to be certified and they want people with investigative experience to apply?

Drop the beards, cut your hair, and dress professionally for crying out loud this isn’t a real investigative agency. You’re restaurant inspectors with guns.
That’s why they felt compelled to buy us another gun, because we are not “cops”? James Bond pens that glow in neon lights like those in bars. That’s why they want us working until 2 a.m. on weekends? Because we can’t find funnels or Costco receipts during the day? That’s why we have an SRT wearing BDUs with subdued patches? Room clearing drills but you’re only allow to man a post. Regulatory agents with rifles sounds pretty cool, eh? They want us to be “cops” only when it benefits them. They want you working nights and weekends with your “undercover” gun like cops do, but any crimes you see occurring, well refer those to the locals because you’re nothing more than a regulatory agent with limited police powers that can all be done during the day. Tallahassee is the f*cked up joke in all of this.

    Two words to remember

    OPTICS
    METRICS

Nothing else matters. Every state agency law enforcement or not, is concerned with Optics and Metrics.

This is exactly right! This place is a joke and after the accreditation you wont see anymore training either.

They’re working feverishly to cover up their failed sabotage agenda. They believe that if they hurry and fill these spots and spend the allotted budget money on things like guns that their wrongs will be covered up. It remains to be seen how far into HB the feds are really digging. We all suspect if it goes beyond the Bahamas to DBPR that several people may be looking at hard time.

What kind of gun does ABT issue to their investigators? Is the uniform BDU and polo shirt?
