No news conference needed. It’s all a misunderstanding and could have been avoided. But as usual everything has to be an investigation. This is especially true when the target of the investigation already has a bullseye on their back from the administration.

Can we please. PLEASE. Keep all our Mark Cross comments on the Mark Cross thread. It's a living monument to his incompetence.

The administration is to blame for giving BB breaks not afforded to others which went to his head resulting in several dumpster fires. It all accumulated until the decision was made that he had to go.

    Stolen gun

BB stole ammo (Grand theft), also stole Shotgun (Grand theft) from the armory. Then sells shotgun to non-employee (Dealing in Stolen Property). Non-employee sells shotgun to JV. When it was time for JV to leave he had two shotguns one of which was the one he purchased the other his agency issued one. However, they look identical and he does not know which is the one he purchased so he brings both to the armory to have them identify the agency gun and Boom! The armory says they are both PCSO and where did you get it. The dominoes started falling from there.
So, three felonies and BB gets to simply retire under investigation and not arrested. I seem to recall another deputy that pawned his gun with every intention of getting it back and he was arrested for DSP. Bob preaches accountability but doesn’t hold everyone to it. He makes the rules, tells you to follow the rules, but he breaks the rules. It has never changed, it’s who you know!

And this is the accurate version, folks. Was wondering how long it would take for someone who knew to post. You can all stop idolizing BB anytime now. That bullseye he had on his back was put there by himself. Who knows how many other skeletons will fall out of his closet. He thought he could get away with shit for years.

Let's see Pear1 conduct a news conference explaining how this happened and who will be charged. If not he has lied about how his administration is the most transparent, ethical and fair.

the only reason people wanted BB to be held accountable was because other deputies have been fired for less. Not to mention, other police officers in the county have been charged under similar circumstances. Sucks he had to be sacrificed, but Bob is going to cover his @ss.

Nice story but inaccurate and can’t prove intent. Do you no the elements of a crime?
