Promo Exam may be rescheduled?

I heard that the exam may be put off a month or two due to the increasing number of COVID cases in the Bay Area. They are concerned that the event would become a super spreader for the virus.

Yes. 9/24 will most likely be the new test date.

Heard the same and promotions could be made from this list since it doesn’t expire for another couple of months. Kind of a waste of everyone’s time and the city’s HR (money) having everyone involved produce and sit for an exam to only make a handful of people.

So we can have department wide training at the convention center in the middle of the pandemic but now we can’t have a promotional exam. Plus I believe that would violate the contract

Yes it’s usually in the last quarter around that time frame. Now it’s back to September again. At least that’s what I’ve been hearing from a lot of people.
