Stop conducting illegal searches and making illegal arrests without probable cause dummies. This is the highest settlement I’ve ever seen At BSO and it’s even worse they behaved this way with one of their own employees. Who was responsible for this?

Those 3 detectives had FULL knowledge that they had no arrest powers in Orlando and you know dam well someone with a much higher rank told them to go there and arrest her. Why has nobody been held accountable for using their authority hundreds of miles away from their jurisdictional boundaries? Gordon was allowed to retire and Zinglow has since been promoted.

Typical BSO cover up. If you protect the command, you can do no wrong.

BSO continues to terminate employees wrongfully under the orders of Tony. We will see many more of these large paydays at taxpayers expense in the next couple years unless Tony corrects it ASAP.

The arbiter and a circuit court judge has already ruled against BSO on Miller, stambaugh and Eason. It’s been over two years since they were terminated and BSO is now appealing those cases to a district court.

That means 2.5 to 3 years of back pay for a tipped out Sgt and 2 topped out deputies. Medical reimbursement, vehicle stipend, FRS contributions, sick time accruals, holiday accruals, vacation accruals respectively at 88/88/164 hrs per year plus 24 hrs of bonus hrs per year and personal time. Loss of overtime and details average is a possibility after this long. It will cost BSO another 2.5 million on these three alone

And there are many more to follow. Greg Tony is a ticking time bomb for BSO in the middle of the ocean. Deputies have turned on him, cities are against him, newspapers…. His removal can’t come soon enough

Yes, loss of OT and details are included also. But you forgot interest on all back pay is given too which is usually between 10-15%.

This is crazy. They are wrongfully firing and wrongly punishing deputies left and right. It’s bullsh!t. No wonder they can’t get anyone to do police work anymore. What a joke. And what a mess.

Does anyone know if he treats the fire guys the same way. Does he fire them & suspended them like he does us or is he only a cop hater?

I dont think Tony has that "leadership" essential skill to rationalize. It's a very important skill to know what is best for the agency even if it goes against your personal feelings. Its impossible to succeed without this.
